Places to stay in Paris on a budget

The best budget picks on our list are simple hotels and rooms with a kitchen. A kitchen lets you skip some restaurant meals.

Hotel Audran in Montmartre is a simple hotel near Abbesses metro. The People in Le Marais has a shared kitchen and lounge.

WS Opéra Milan, Hôtel Capfun Le Saint Germain and Montmartre Paris Suite have studios or apartments with a kitchen. Near Disneyland, All Suites Appart Hôtel has kitchenettes too.

We list no prices, because they change every day. Booking.com shows the live ones.

For the whole trip, our Paris on a budget guide adds up food, tickets and transport.

Can I rent an apartment in Paris?

Yes, but only from a host who lives there. The city allows tourist rentals only in the host’s main home, for up to 90 nights a year.

Every listing must show the city registration number. If it has none, pick another place. The fines fall on hosts, not on guests.
