Disneyland Paris from the city: the options at a glance

You can go on your own by train, or book a ticket with transport. The train is cheapest. A shuttle, coach or car saves you the planning.

Which ticket: one day or two to four

For one day, the 1-day ticket from €52 is the one to book. You choose 1 park or 2 when you book.

For a longer stay, the 2-, 3- or 4-day ticket starts from €148. It covers both parks. Children under 3 go free, and child tickets are for ages 3 to 11, says Disney.

Deals: dated tickets cost less than the gate

Disney's site says dated tickets bought at least a day ahead cost less than at the gate. Prices change by date.

Disney lists its gate price for 1 day and 2 parks at €174 for adults and €164 for children. Gate sales only happen if the parks are not full.

Tickets with transport included, compared

A ticket with transport is the easiest day trip to Disneyland Paris. You meet at one point in the city and ride straight to the parks.

Check the meeting point before you book. Most of these do not pick you up at your hotel.

Getting there from central Paris: RER A, shuttle, private transfer

The cheapest way is the RER A train to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy. The station sits right by the park gates.

The RER A runs through central Paris. The ticket listing says the parks are about 35 minutes from the city centre.

A standard €2.55 Métro-Train-RER ticket covers the trip, as the official fare pages list. Buy it in the Île-de-France Mobilités app or load a Navigo Easy card (€2).

Prefer not to ride the Paris to Disneyland train? A shuttle bus or a private car takes you from the city instead. For every route, see getting around Paris.

From the airports to Disneyland Paris

The Magical Shuttle runs from both Paris airports, Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly, to the Disney hotels. It costs €24 one way for an adult and €11 for a child under 12. Children under 3 ride free.

The ride from CDG takes about 1 hour. The shuttle takes cards and e-tickets only, no cash.

The €2.55 train ticket does not cover the airports. For every airport route, see getting around Paris.

One day or two: how to decide

Here is a simple rule for families. One day is enough for one park. With young kids and both parks, plan two days.

The ticket types follow this rule. The 1-day ticket lets you pick 1 park or 2. The 2- to 4-day ticket always covers both parks.

Disneyland Park or Disney Adventure World

There are two parks: Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. Disney Adventure World is the former Walt Disney Studios Park.

Disney Adventure World has World of Frozen, Worlds of Pixar and Marvel Avengers Campus. Pick it if your kids love those films.

When to go and how to avoid the crowds

Opening hours change by date, so check the park calendar on the Disney site before you go.

French school holidays are the busy times to plan around. These are the dates for the Paris zone (zone C):

  • Christmas: 19 December 2026 to 4 January 2027
  • February: 6 to 22 February 2027
  • April: 3 to 19 April 2027
  • Summer: from 3 July 2027

Where to stay: at the resort or in Paris

Stay at the resort if you plan two or more park days. Disney says all its hotels are within walking distance of the parks, except Davy Crockett Ranch.

Davy Crockett Ranch is about a 15-minute drive away, with no shuttle to the parks, says Disney. You need a car there.

For a single day, a hotel in Paris and the RER A work well. See where to stay in Paris. On top of the room rate, Paris charges a tourist tax per adult per night that depends on the hotel's stars: €5.53 at 3 stars, €8.45 at 4 stars and €11.70 at 5 stars (2026 rates, surcharges included). The city's notice charges adults only.

Disneyland Paris and the rest of your trip

Staying at the resort? Our last pick takes you into Paris for a day, with a Seine cruise. Hotels near the parks are listed below.
