Places to Stay at Disneyland Paris: 6 Options Compared

A bright hotel room with a made double bed and a tall window

The best places to stay at Disneyland Paris are a Disney hotel by the gates, a partner hotel in Serris or Chessy near the RER A train, or a room in central Paris with a train ride each day. The six options below show what each one gives you and what it costs you in time, so you can pick by your family's day, not by the brochure.

1. A Disney hotel: the shortest walk to the gates

Among the Disneyland Paris places to stay, a Disney hotel gives you the shortest trip to the parks, and that is its whole advantage. Disney says all its hotels are within walking distance of the parks, except Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch, which needs a car. The Disneyland Hotel sits at the entrance of Disneyland Park. The Disney Hotel New York is about a 10-minute walk, and Newport Bay Club and Sequoia Lodge are about 15 minutes, or a short free shuttle.

Disney hotel guests also park free at their hotel, according to Disney. Disney's prices were not readable for us, so check the official site for your dates. There are two parks to visit, Disneyland Paris has both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, which was renamed on 29 March 2026, per The Walt Disney Company. That is why a multi-day ticket fits a stay here, for example the 2/3/4-day ticket from €148 per person. That ticket covers both parks for two to four days, and GetYourGuide sells it as a distributor. A tour is not needed for a hotel stay, because a hotel guest can walk or ride the shuttle and buy only the ticket.

2. L'Elysée Val d'Europe: closest to the RER station

L'Elysée Val d'Europe suits you if you want a rail link and a short walk to it. L'Elysée Val d'Europe is on Cours du Danube in Serris, 250 m from Val d'Europe RER station and 2 km from the park. The hotel says the station is about 35 minutes from Paris. Booking.com showed it at 9.1 from 3,685 reviews on 24 October 2026.

L'Elysée has a restaurant and a terrace. Disney lists free shuttles from Chessy station to the parks and most partner hotels about every 15 to 20 minutes. That comes from its hotel shuttle page, which we could not open to confirm the current times.

3. Relais Spa Val d'Europe: a pool and kitchenettes in Chessy

Relais Spa Val d'Europe suits families who want to cook some meals. Relais Spa Val d'Europe is a 4-star apartment hotel in Chessy, 1.9 km from Marne-la-Vallée. It has an indoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, a French restaurant and units with kitchenettes.

On 24 October 2026 it scored 8.6 on Booking.com, from 6,038 reviews. A kitchenette helps with snacks and breakfast, which cut the cost of a long stay. After a day of walking, a pool is a good way to end it.

4. All Suites Appart Hôtel: apartments and parking in Serris

All Suites Appart Hôtel suits you if you want space and a car park. All Suites Appart Hôtel Val d'Europe is on rue Magellan in Serris. Every unit has a fully equipped kitchenette. It also has a garden, a shared lounge, a bar and on-site parking.

Its score on Booking.com was 9.0 from 795 reviews on 24 October 2026. Fewer reviews than the others back that up, so read recent ones. It works for a longer stay, when a full kitchen saves money.

Pro Tip Check the kitchenette before you pick an apartment. All Suites Appart Hôtel lists a fully equipped one in every unit, so you can cook breakfast and save a morning restaurant bill.

5. Hôtel AKENA Serris: a 4-star base if you drive

Hôtel AKENA Serris suits drivers more than train travellers. Hôtel AKENA Serris is a 4-star hotel with a bar, a terrace and on-site parking. It is 2.8 km from Val d'Europe RER station and 5.5 km from the park, the farthest of the four.

Booking.com showed it at 8.4 from 2,977 reviews on 24 October 2026, the lowest score of the four. That distance is the catch. Without a car, the walk to the station is long with kids.

6. Central Paris: the cheapest way to see the city too

Staying in central Paris is best when Disneyland is one day of a longer trip. You ride the RER A out in the morning and back at night. The standard €2.55 Métro-Train-RER ticket is valid throughout Île-de-France, so it covers the ride to Marne-la-Vallée, according to Île-de-France Mobilités. Its page lists airports as the only exception.

You can also take a coach. The round-trip transfer from Paris is from €48 per person, takes about one hour and leaves from Pullman Paris Centre Bercy. Park entry is not included. For a one-day visit, the 1-day ticket is from €52 per person.

Disneyland Paris is about 35 minutes by RER A east of central Paris, and about one hour by coach. The 35 minutes is the hotel's own figure for the ride from Val d'Europe station to Paris. No kilometre figure is published where we could read it. Disney, RATP, Île-de-France Mobilités and the Paris tourist office blocked us, and the Val d'Europe and Seine-et-Marne tourism sites did not open. So we give the travel time and no distance.

Can you book a Disneyland Paris hotel without park tickets? Yes, for the four partner hotels in this guide, which sell rooms on their own. For Disney's own hotels, a Disney answer on its planDisney help page (dated 9 April 2025) says a room-only booking is possible, but not online. Disney's own help pages blocked us, so the current rule is not published where we could read it.

For most visitors, going on your own is enough. The coach is worth it if you want one fixed pickup and no train changes. Here is the weigh-up between the coach and going on your own. The train ticket is €2.55 each way, so about €5.10 for the round trip, and the ride takes about 35 minutes. The coach is from €48 per person for the round trip, about nine times the train fare, and takes about one hour. It has a free-cancellation label. It leaves from Pullman Paris Centre Bercy and does not include park entry. It is rated 3.9 from 114 reviews, which is lower than the tickets. The coach suits you if you want one fixed pickup, no train changes and a return to the same stop. The train suits you if you want the lowest cost, the shorter ride and can handle the trip yourself. Either way, you buy the park ticket on its own. Children under 3 cannot take the coach. Before you book the coach, know four things. It leaves from Pullman Paris Centre Bercy. It takes about one hour. Group size is not listed. Park entry is not included. The two park tickets are not tours, so they have no meeting point, duration or group size listed. A tour is not needed for the park itself.

A room in the city also carries Paris's tourist tax. It was €8.45 per adult per night for a 4-star hotel from 1 January 2026, as the French government lists it. For help choosing a district, see where to stay in Paris.

The shortest walk is not always the best base for a family.

1. Book the room no tickets needed 2. Book tickets 1 day or 2 to 4 3. Get to Chessy walk, shuttle or RER A 4. Enter the park bags are checked

How to choose between places to stay at Disneyland Paris

Partner hotels in Val d'Europe are a good option if you want a lower price, a kitchenette or parking, with a short ride. They are not the best option if you want the shortest walk. For small children, a short walk matters most. A Disney hotel has the shortest one, and Relais Spa Val d'Europe adds a pool and kitchenettes for snacks. Hôtel AKENA Serris is the hardest with small children, because the walk to the station is long. Disney and the hotels do not publish a ranking for small children, so this is our reading of their facts. For families with small children, we would put a Disney hotel first, Relais Spa Val d'Europe second and L'Elysée Val d'Europe third, because it is 250 m from the station.

Choose by the walk you can live with, the kitchen you need and how many days you have. Best Things to Do in Paris' count of GetYourGuide listings on 24 October 2026 found that 7 of 9 Disneyland entry-ticket listings carry no free-cancellation label. So decide the room and the ticket one at a time, and read each cancellation rule before you pay.

Key Takeaway For the shortest trip, take a Disney hotel. For a kitchenette and a rail link on a budget, take one of the four Serris and Chessy hotels, and L'Elysée Val d'Europe is the closest to the station at 250 m.

One honest limit applies. This guide cannot give Disney hotel prices, because Disney's own pages did not open for us. Bags larger than 55 x 40 x 25 cm are not allowed in the parks, so check your suitcase size on arrival day. Prices and ratings are as shown on GetYourGuide on 24 October 2026.

Book your Disneyland tickets and a ride from Paris

For most visitors, going on your own is enough. The RER A (Paris commuter train) costs the €2.55 ticket each way, takes about 35 minutes and needs no tour. The round-trip coach is worth it if you want one fixed pickup and no train changes. Park tickets start at €52 per person for one day and €148 per person for two to four days, and the round-trip coach from Paris is from €48 per person. The tickets are sold by GetYourGuide as a distributor, and the coach is run by Extime Travel. The coach takes about one hour, includes no park entry and is not suitable for children under 3. The coach costs more than the train, but it leaves from one fixed Paris stop and brings you back to it. You get a round-trip seat and no park entry. Group size is not published.

FAQ

Can you book Disneyland Paris hotel without tickets?

Yes, you can book a partner hotel without park tickets. It is an ordinary hotel that sells rooms on its own, and the four hotels in this guide are booked as rooms only. For a Disney-run hotel, Disney's rules page did not open for us (it returned an access error), so we cannot say whether it asks for tickets. That rule is not published where we could read it. Check Disney's hotel page before you pay.

Where to stay in disney Paris?

Stay at a Disney hotel for the shortest walk, in Serris or Chessy for a short ride and often a kitchenette, or in central Paris if the park is one day of your trip. The sections above compare all three.

What hotel is closest to Disneyland Paris?

Disney says its Disneyland Hotel stands at the entrance of Disneyland Park. Among the partner hotels here, Relais Spa Val d'Europe is 1.9 km from Marne-la-Vallée and L'Elysée Val d'Europe is 2 km from the park, both as the hotels state.

How long to stay in Disneyland Paris?

Two nights suit most families, because there are two parks and Disney sells tickets for two to four days. A single day is enough if you stay in Paris and only want the main rides. This is our advice, not a rule.

Which hotel to stay in Disneyland Paris?

Pick by how you will get around. Walk if you stay at a Disney hotel, take the train from L'Elysée Val d'Europe, cook at Relais Spa Val d'Europe or All Suites Appart Hôtel, and drive from Hôtel AKENA Serris.

Conclusion

Stay at a Disney hotel if the shortest walk matters most, in Serris or Chessy if you want a kitchenette, parking or a lower price with a short ride, and in central Paris if Disneyland is one day of a longer trip. Book the room and the tickets as two separate choices, read each cancellation rule before you pay, and check Disney's own pages for hotel prices on your dates.
